To identify promising projects as early as possible, in 2016, Via ID launched its incubation programme for new start-ups. After a positive first year and 6 supported start-ups, 4 new start-ups are joining the Via ID incubator. Interview with Léa Degardin, Incubator Manager.

4 new start-ups enter the Via ID incubator

“We are delighted to run 4 new projects within the Via ID incubator. After passing the selection phase this summer, they completed the Starter Programme in September, an intensive 5-week programme aimed at challenging their project’s key issues. They then convinced the final judging panel why they should join the incubator.”

Who are they?

“For a period of 6 months, we will support them both on- and off-site as some of them are located in Lyon. The objective is to help them to create a successful POC and to expand. In order to ensure this, we will teach them vital skills, enable them to network with our ecosystem and give them greater visibility so that they can focus on one thing: their business.”

The Via ID incubator now supports 7 start-ups: Felix, Parkki, Hopways, Citeazy, Groupito, Drivoon and Parkmatch.

“Via ID serves as a benchmark in France in terms of mobility start-up assistance. I am very grateful to receive this support and very useful, strategic advice in order to carry my project forward. Industry expertise and synergies with other Via ID start-ups is a real bonus.”- Eric Breuil, founder of Groupito

In parallel, Via ID continues to support Moove Lab’ start-ups, an incubator created in partnership with the CNPA at Station F.
