Which program is right for me ?

Often confused, there are essential differences between our incubation and acceleration programs. Indeed, both models aim to support and guide startups so they develop their business in the best conditions. However, each program is adapted to different stages of maturity.

Incubation program

……….Acceleration program

It’s perfect for early stage startups at the beginning of their adventure. They are designing a PoC * or have already designed it and they are looking to market their product or service.
No significant fundraising has yet been done, the product or service is not yet stabilized and marketing is just beginning. The purpose of the incubation program will be to help them:

  • finalize their product or service by confronting it to the market;
  • launch their marketing to their first customers;
  • find the traction needed to make the project a success.

At the end of the incubation program and if the results are successful, the goal of the startup will probably be to have a first round of seed capital, to which Via ID could be a potential investor. They will be able to join the Via ID acceleration program if necessary.

It’s more suitable for startups wishing to raise funds, from Seed to Serie A. Via ID then becomes investor and accelerator of startups by bringing its expertise and its network.

The purpose of the acceleration program will be:

  • to make the business scalable ;
  • to move towards profitability ;
  • to develop on a national and international level.

Note that to integrate the acceleration program, an investment of Via ID in equity is necessary.

Comparative of the two offers Via ID : incubator or accelerator comparative of the two offers of VIa ID : accelerator and incubator

One more doubt? A question?

* PoC (Proof of concept) : Approach to verify that a theory, a concept or an idea “can work” from a marketing, economic, technical point of view.
This can take the form of a study or a minimal prototype to show what the product or service may be.

*MVP (minimum viable product) : A fully functional product with the essential characteristics to be tested in full scale on a market.
It is a minimal version of the final product which, unlike the prototype, is marketed.
