Klaxit acquires 100% of the shares of Ecolutis, which operates the iDVROOM service, one of the main carpooling players in France with nearly one million subscribers. With more than 2 million trips now on offer every day, 265 corporate customers at thousands of sites and 30 local authority partners, Klaxit is becoming the leader in commuting carpooling in Europe.
The Klaxit team now has 40 employees in 4 offices in Paris, Angers, Bordeaux and Grenoble, to ensure that its offers are deployed as close as possible to the needs of the territories.
Already present in Switzerland, Klaxit will now operate in Luxembourg on the issue of cross-border journeys, thanks to the iDVROOM contract with the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
Since its last fundraising of 3 million euro announced in February 2018 with RATP, Sodexo, Via ID, MAIF and Inco, Klaxit has experienced very strong growth in its business:
At the same time, Klaxit deployed all the synergies announced 18 months earlier with each of its industrial investors, enabling it to offer a unique carpooling offer on the market:
– MAIF universal return guarantee for passengers in partnership with Uber
– Integration of the horn into the RATP application and its 2 million users / day
– Sustainable Mobility Pass with Sodexo allowing companies to benefit from the new sustainable mobility package of 400€ / year / employee exempt from charges
Finally, Julien Honnart, co-founder of Klaxit, was recently elected by his peers as president of the Alliance des Mobilités, the new business arm of the CNPA, which brings together the main startups of new mobility in France:
Klaxit, Drivy, Citiz, Cityscoot, Circ, etc., and whose main purpose is to represent the new operators of Mobility as a Service (MaaS) to the public authorities.
« Daily mobility is not a single market, it goes through territories and companies. Faced with global players who will not be able to adapt to the specificities of each city, Klaxit is today in the best position to succeed in the challenge of short distance carpooling in France and Europe. Our new fundraising campaign will accelerate the deployment of this virtuous model of sustainable mobility that the territories and their citizens expect. »
