The European Startup Prize for mobility, co-founded 3 years ago by Via ID, the Boston Consulting Group and Karima Delli, Chairwoman of the European Parliament’s Committee on Transport and Tourism, is the only European acceleration program for sustainable mobility. Following the call for applications at the beginning of this year, more than 500 startups participated and 10 of them benefited from support as part of the Day After Program.
Thanks to the strength of this community of startups, its privileged links with the Parliament but also with the partners of the prize, a Manifesto with 22 concrete proposals was created from the contribution of 400 actors to feed the European Commission’s Strategy for Sustainable and Smart Mobility Strategy.
This Manifesto pursues the objective of the EUSP since its inception: to make Europe the playground for European startups by facilitating their international expansion.
On Tuesday, September 22, the 10 winning startups of the EUSP presented the Manifesto during a dedicated event to the Vice President of the European Commission, Maros Sefcovic, and Karima Delli (replay session available).
What are the main challenges identified by the start-ups?
What are some of the key measures carried by start-ups within the Manifesto?
