The European Startup Prize for Mobility (EUSP), co-founded by Via ID, is back for its 6th edition, aiming to propel the most promising startups in sustainable mobility.

This unique European initiative seeks to identify, support, and give visibility to the young companies inventing the mobility of tomorrow. The 6th edition of the European Startup Prize for Mobility was officially launched on November 13, 2024, in Monaco, with the presence of HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco and Karima Delli.

The EUSP: The Largest EU-Founded Prize and Acceleration Program for Sustainable Mobility

Co-founded in 2017 by Karima Delli, then Chairwoman of the Transport and Tourism Committee of the European Parliament, Via ID, and the strategic consultancy firm Boston Consulting Group, the European Startup Prize for Mobility has existed since 2018.

The ambition of this public-private initiative? To support and develop smart and sustainable mobility startups across Europe, nurturing the future leaders of tomorrow’s mobility. Each year, over 700 startups from across Europe apply to the EUSP, totaling more than 2,000 applications since its inception.

European Startup Prize for Mobility: 15 Dedicated Partners

Alongside its three founding partners, the European Startup Prize for Mobility benefits from the support of high-level public and private partners, including the European Investment Bank, Europcar Mobility Group, Voies Navigables de France, Ayvens, the European Climate Foundation, Europe’s Rail, Mobilians, and new partners such as Mastercard, Brisa Group, Groupe ADP, Nevomo, and Unicorn.

New Features of the 6th Edition of the EUSP

This year, the EUSP introduces several special prizes in collaboration with leading European partners. These awards will highlight innovations in specific sectors, such as maritime mobility, battery lifecycle management, and rural mobility. A special category will also reward a Ukrainian startup for its commitment in challenging conditions.
