SpotAngels, the Google Maps for parking

A start-up created in San Francisco by 3 young entrepreneurs, SpotAngels facilitates parking for private individuals in more than 25 cities in the USA and Europe. Its dynamic, ultra-precise parking space mapping system enables available and suitable parking spots to be found quickly, thanks to enhanced information (zones, prices, payments, end of parking session notifications…). This solution has already been integrated into BMW’s and Volkswagen’s embedded system. Via ID is participating in a 2 million dollar funding round, along with renowned investors such as Y Combinator, Lars Rasmussen, founder of Google Maps, and Luc Vincent, founder of Google Street View and VP of Engineering at Lyft. This fundraising will enable the start-up to roll-out its predictive parking solution.

Created by Jeff Waren in 2017 and based in Seattle, the start-up is developing a smartphone app which helps users to find the nearest, most practical and cheapest on-demand transport service in real time. Migo is one of the first on the mobility market to apply the ‘mobility as a service’ concept: a single app for all on-demand, personal transportation options, including shared mobility services (car-sharing, taxis, chauffeur-driven passenger vehicles…). Via ID participated in a 2.3 million dollar funding round.
