Via ID launches a new incubation program, Summer Sprint: 12 weeks for entrepreneurs with a still young project in the field of new mobility and wishing to structure it to move on to the next stage.

The call for projects launched last May made it possible to identify around fifty project leaders, all of whom aim to move the lines in the new mobility sector by proposing more sustainable solutions.

After the evaluation of the applications, 10 finalists were selected and had the opportunity to pitch in front of an experts’ jury composed of France Mobilités, BPI France, CarStudio, Journal du Net, Cyclofix, Groupito, Valiuz & Via ID.

The selected projects aim to:

  • revolutionize the use of mobility data;
  • to convert a traditional bicycle into an E-Bike in a very accessible way;
  • to secure the practice of 2-wheelers with a very innovative IOT solution.

The winners of the Summer Sprint

Fluctuo has developed solutions to collect, analyze and visualize data from shared mobility services (bicycles, scooters and motor scooters). Designed for cities and operators, Fluctuo provides more reliable data on these new modes of transport.

TEEbike offers a universal electric wheel that transforms your traditional bike into an electrically assisted bike in less than a minute.

TrackAp has developed a connected object to identify the GPS position of bikes in case of theft and to detect accidents in order to help cyclists as quickly as possible.

This support will be provided by:

  • Experienced mobility entrepreneurs such as Teddy Pellerin, CEO of Heetch, Thomas Effantin, CEO of Trusk or Eliette Vincent, CEO of Cocolis;
  • Mobility experts such as Daphnée Lucenet, Via ID’s Deal flow Analyst on the Business Model aspect, Adélaïde De Couëssin, Via ID’s Partnership Officer who will share business intelligence about MaaS and free floating, Yann Marteil, Via ID’s Managing Director about international development;
  • Mentors like François Barde, Business Developer at Ector, Jean-François Dhinaux, Via ID’s Head of strategy & Pierre-Julien Harbonnier, CEO of Parkki.

This intense 12-week program will end with a Demo Day organized in Paris at the end of September, allowing startups to present their projects and needs to key mobility decision-makers: investors, startups, corporates, potential partners, etc.

Léa Dégardin, Incubation Programs Manager

With this new program in a different format, we wanted to be surprised by ambitious and talented entrepreneurs on innovative topics and we were not disappointed by the fifty or so applications received. The 3 selected projects all have important challenges to meet and we are proud to help them structure themselves during these 12 weeks.
