Founded in 2010 by the Mobivia Group (Norauto, Midas, Carter-Cash…), Via ID is the leading investment fund and startup accelerator in mobility in Europe.
Through investment, business intelligence, its network, and support programs, Via ID contributes to the growth of the most innovative companies in sustainable mobility, helping them become future European leaders. Today, Via ID boasts a portfolio of over 20 startups (including Trusk, Heetch, Blablacar, Gomecano, Traxi, Beev…) as well as three major initiatives: the Moove Lab at Station F, the European Startup Prize for Mobility, and the Mobility Club by Via ID.
Within Mobivia, Via ID supports the group’s companies in their strategies and development.
Via ID’s commitment to impact
In all its initiatives, Via ID aims to contribute to the development of sustainable and accessible mobility for all, in line with Mobivia’s purpose: “Opening Sustainable Mobility to all.”
To achieve this mission, Via ID is committed to contributing to carbon neutrality by 2050 by reducing its CO2 emissions—and those of its portfolio—by 30% by 2030 (compared to 2019).
Beyond reducing greenhouse gas emissions, Via ID also seeks to generate positive impacts. This is why the avoided emissions of portfolio companies are calculated each year using Carbone 4’s Net Zero Initiative methodology.
To address these sustainable mobility challenges, our investment thesis also includes themes such as the circular economy, enabling us to invest in and support startups in our ecosystem as they integrate these critical topics.
This strategy aligns with the international framework of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with a focus on four priority SDGs.
