The European Startup Prize for Mobility (EUSP) — co-founded in 2017 by Karima Delli (Chairwoman of the European Parliament’s Transport Committee), Boston Consulting Group (BCG), and Via ID — has officially revealed the Top 10 mobility startups of 2025.
Selected from over 500 applications across Europe, and narrowed down through interviews with the Top 50, these 10 startups were unveiled on June 5th during the Award Ceremony in Rzeszów, Poland, part of the EU Industry Days and held under the Polish Presidency of the Council of the EU.

- CelLife (Finland) offering fast battery diagnostics.
- Futurail (France-Germany), developing self-driving trains.
- Hive Power (Switzerland) for smart EV charging and energy aggregation.
- Laka (United Kingdom), offering a collective bike insurance.
- Loxo (Switzerland), presenting Level 4 autonomous driving
- Peregrine AI (Germany), making smart use of millions of cameras.
- Syntonym (Turkey), presenting anonymization technology that ensures privacy in camera-captured data
- The Tyre Collective (United Kingdom), capturing tyre emissions.
- Upstream (Israel), offering cloud-based cybersecurity solutions for connected vehicles.
- VoltR (France), manufacturing eco-designed lithium batteries.
10 special prizes
In addition to the Top 10, 10 Special Prizes were awarded to spotlight standout innovations in areas such as shared mobility, EV battery lifecycle, maritime and rail transport, and female entrepreneurship.
- Vaeridion (Germany) – Best Startup in Rural & Island Mobility, awarded by the European Parliament and Scale Ups by European Investment Bank
- EX9 (France) – Best Female Entrepreneur, awarded by French Minister of Transport
- Input Soft (Ukraine) – Best Ukrainian Startup, awarded by the European Commissioner for Transport
- Tether (Spain) – Best startup in EV Battery Care & Life Cycle, awarded by Ayvens
- Futurail (Germany) – Best startup in Rail Mobility, awarded by Europe’s Rail Joint Undertaking
- EcoNautik (France) – Best startup in Maritime Mobility, awarded by Prince Albert II of Monaco
- Nivel (Norway) – Best Startup in Shared Mobility & Travel Tech, awarded by Europcar Mobility Group
- Roboat (Netherlands) – Best Startup in River Mobility, awarded by the French river mobility authority (NVF)
- The Tyre Collective (UK) – Audience Favourite award, wining the highest number of online votes.
What’s next?
The Award Ceremony is neither the beginning nor the end! The winners will now embark on their acceleration programme, powered by Via ID and the business consultancy by BCG (for TOP4), they will also set sail on a European Tour to present their technologies at some of Europe’s leading tech and mobility fairs:
