TOP 3 Moove Lab startups

The Moove Lab – the acceleration program dedicated to mobility and automotive startups, co-founded by MOBILIANS and Via ID in 2017 – welcomed its 11th promotion of startups last October, at Station F. A total of 15 projects are currently benefiting from the accelerator’s support. But which startups are most closely linked to the automotive maintenance business? Here’s a TOP 3 of the startups in this 11th promotion:

BIMPAIR

Bimpair

Golden ticket of the Moove Lab’s 10th promotion, BIMPAIR has been selected to benefit from the acceleration program for an additional 6 months alongside projects in promotion 11. The company – founded in 2012 by Marcello Aghilone and currently headed by Nancy Aghilone – relies on miniaturization technology and two patents to offer a nomadic solution for using gases for pressure adjustments.

These are the first self-contained, rechargeable air and gas management systems to offer unprecedented comfort in pneumatic management, and to meet the needs of a wide range of applications:

  • Pressure adjustment (tires, suspensions, tubeless breakdown)
  • Injection
  • Power supply for mobile tools
  • Inerting
  • Or spraying

Bimpair’s mission is to bring mobility and eco-responsibility to pressurized gas users by

eliminating constraints and reducing waste. The company – with a team of 6 people – is supported by a dozen partners, including: Airbus, Ceerta pneus, FF vélo, Innovosud, La French tech Méditerranée, Michelin motorsport, Mutuelle des motards, Saint-gobain PAM, Vélo Vallée, X1 RACING SUSPENSION

Kate

Founded in 2022 – by Matthias Goldenberg(CEO), Pierre Escrieut (CTO) and Thibaud ElziereKate designs electric microcars to accelerate the transition to sustainable modes of transport, adapted to users’ needs and the environment.

Kate

Made in France, their K0 model is designed to be accessible, ecological and practical. It offers 3 main advantages:

  • It is particularly light, weighing no more than 450 kg.
  • The vehicle has a range of up to 130 km.
  • It’s easy to maintain

Kate already has links with industrial partners such as Valeo and Segula. The startup – with a team of 6 people – already has an operational production site. Indeed, thanks to the acquisition of Nosmoke in 2022, Kate benefits from 10 years’ experience in car manufacturing. The products have been sold in 12 countries, and have proved their worth in over 2,000 units.

Entroview

Entroview

Co-founded in 2021 by Gaëtan Depaëpe  and Sohaïb El Outmani, Entroview develops an intelligent battery monitoring software for gigafactories and mobility professionals.

An innovation that enables:

  • In-depth analysis of Li-Ion batteries.

– Detect defects in a battery at the end of production in just 10 hours, instead of the usual ten days

– Cover their entire life cycle, from the R&D phase to use and possible second life.

  • To reduce the production time and cost of Li-Ion batteries.

Their goals are as follows:

  • Optimize batteries, which could be used 20% longer
  • Unlock the full potential of batteries, from production to recycling
  • Foster a data-centric industry

The startup – with a team of 7 people – currently has 3 industrial partners, including a gigafactory based in northern Europe,Stellantis and Saft by Total Energies.
