German-Polish trailer manufacturer Blyss acquires a stake in Traxi alongside historic investor Via ID.

Startup Traxi, known for its innovative trailer rental solution, has announced a €1,5 million funding round from German-Polish trailer manufacturer Blyss. With this funding, Traxi aims to consolidate its position as a leader in the self-service trailer market in Germany, while stepping up its expansion in Europe.

Traxi: a rapid expansion and a strong partnership with ATU

Traxi has developed a system that allows users to rent a trailer 24/7 via a mobile app. With just a few clicks, the trailer is released  from its docking station and ready for use. No hidden booking fees, deposit requests or penalties: billing is done by the minute, with the system automatically selecting the most cost-effective rate.

Founded in May 2020, in Gelsenkirchen, Germany, the startup launched its first pilot projects in early 2021, precisely in North Rhine-Westphalia. Today, Traxi has deployed 255 trailers and 352 stations, across 74 locations (including 44 within ATU car centres, with a shared goal of reaching 50 car centres).

€1,5 million fundraising to bolster Traxi’s growth

Traxi welcomes a new investor alongside Via ID: the German-Polish trailer manufacturer Blyss, which is joining the startup’s capital with a €1,5 million investment.

We are delighted with our collaboration with Traxi. The startup’s healthy and rapid expansion in the German market showcases its strong growth potential.
